Sometimes we miss the simple days, when Saturday mornings were all about watching cartoons and eating things drenched in syrup. Nowadays, our Saturday mornings usually just consist of scalding hot showers and lots of desperate scrubbing.
But we're not dwelling on the negatives. After all, pessimism is for lames. Weekends are still a great time to catch up on our drinking, our sleeping and of course, our TV. But if you're wondering what to watch this weekend, let us handle the remote control with our Complex TV Picks...
COMEDY: CHARLIE MURPHY: I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE, COMEDY CENTRAL, 1 AM SUNDAY
• Here's a perfect late-night activity to bide your time if you strike out at the bar Saturday night. While Charlie Murphy's debut stand-up performance might not ease the sting of rejection, it should at least lighten your mood. For those of you who do get laid, there's an encore at 3:30 a.m.

SPORTS: COLLEGE BASKETBALL: VILLANOVA AT SYRACUSE, ESPN, 9 PM SATURDAY
• ESPN's College GameDay descends on Syracuse to watch #7 Villanova take on the #4 Orange in front of a sold-out crowd of over 34,000 fans. Yeah, the Heat are playing the Magic on Sunday at 7 p.m., but with Dwyane Wade out with a calf injury and Dwight Howard still beasting as usual, we'd rather watch this college showdown.

COMEDY: AMERICAN DAD, CARTOON NETWORK, 11:30 PM FRIDAY
• Should you be considering a night on the couch, entertain your lonely self with this underrated cartoon from the makers of Family Guy. But seriously, you should probably DVR it instead and get your ass out of the house for once.

DRAMA: HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA, HBO, 10 PM SUNDAY
• Maybe we're just happy to finally have some original and entertaining programming, but we can't seem to get enough of HTMIIA. Tune in Sunday night to see if the guys will find a solution to their denim crisis or if Cudi will actually get some decent screen time. And we're still waiting on the nudity.

SPORTS: OLYMPIC CLOSING CEREMONY, NBC, 7 PM ET SUNDAY
• While we're not expecting the insane pyrotechnics we saw at the closing ceremony in Beijing, we're still looking forward to seeing what Canada has to offer. Supposedly, an array of Canadian celebrities are set to make appearances. We were going to list them for you until we realized Canadian celebrities are irrelevant. Also, don't forget to watch the Olympics on Saturday at 8 p.m. for finals in figure skating, men's snowboarding and bobsledding.
