There's been no shortage of promotion for next month's highly anticipated disaster movie, 2012. You would think the world was ending in three weeks, not three years, with all the measures Columbia Pictures is taking to make sure everyone knows about this film. Commercials and press are crucial, but this five minute preview of the movie might have just sold us on copping on a ticket. Movies like this are about special effects and little else, and the clip above makes it clear that viewers won't be shortchanged in that department. Mass apocalypse never looked so good.
