New Zealand duo Broods takes on Charli XCX’s hit record “Break The Rules” for their latest, putting a gritty spin on the fun, free-spirited track.
The Broods remix feels darker, hollower and more sinister, but there’s certainly no lack of energy. The phrase “‘Til we die” is repeated several times throughout the middle portion of the song bridging the hooks in a somewhat spooky fashion and injecting it with a tangible edge.
