Pitchfork Readers Vote Childish Gambino's 'Camp' Most Underrated Album Of 2011

January 3, 2012

After receiving a rating of 1.6 our of 10, “underrated” is an understatement. It’s like calling that time you smashed you television when you lost a game of Wii Bowling “an overreaction.” Even if you hated Childish Gambino‘s Camp, it’s hard not to admit that Pitchfork was a little harsh. As a small token of redemption, Donald’s debut has been declared the most underrated of the year in P4k’s Readers Poll.

In other news, the readers voted Bon Iver‘s album as the best of the year. Then, as what comes across as a jab at themselves for being so obvious, they also voted it most overrated of the year. At any other media outlet, that wouldn’t make any sense, but at Pitchfork, it’s perfect.
