15 Free Songs You Should Download Right Now

Every Sunday we collect the best free music we can find and put it all in one place. If you fell behind or just feel like building up your iTunes, we've got you covered. Here are 15 free songs for you to download, in no particular order. Enjoy.

2. Lucki Eck$ ft. Chance The Rapper - "Stevie Wonder"

Yesterday, Chicago's Lucki Eck$ celebrated his birthday by dropping a new mixtape. The 11 sedated, smoked out tracks are a trip, but one of the best surprises was that "Stevie Wonder," his track with Chance The Rapper from the end of last year, was included for free download too.

Download the whole mixtape from his Soundcloud page here.

3. The Social Experiment ft. King Louie & Quavo - "Familiar"

When Donnie Trumpet and Chance The Rapper revealed that The Social Experiment's album Surf would have a lot of surprise features, the last thing that probably came to mind was a Migos feature—if that even came to mind at all. But it happened, and thank goodness it did because the results are impressive. There's so much going on throughout "Familiar"—and the rest of Surf—but it all sounds seamless. Hearing both King Louie and Quavo over this sort of instrumentation feels out of the ordinary, but it works so well.

4. Denzel Curry - "Threatz (Ekali & Gravez Remix)"

Denzel Curry's single "Threatz" with Yung Simmie and Robb Bank$ is already a pretty aggressive track that can start a mosh pit in just a matter of seconds. Producers Ekali and Gravez managed to amp up the energy of the track even more. The overall feel of this remix is a little eerier than the original, but the production is just as banging.

5. Sean Leon - "This Ain't 2012"

A few months ago, we included Sean Leon on our list of artists to watch from Toronto. His latest single should act as further proof of why now is the perfect time to start paying attention to the young Toronto rapper. Sean switches up his rhyme flow part way through the song and shows how versatile he can be on "This Ain't 2012." The new track is completed by a booming beat from Wondagurl.

6. TroyBoi - "Wonky"

If you asked me what it meant to be "wonky" before hearing this song, I'd stare back with wide eyes and sweaty palms. But now I have an answer, thanks to TroyBoi and his growling, swirling synth pads. Let's get wonk-ayyyy...

7. Memeb ft. Kaleem Taylor - "Thousand Words"

We premiered "Thousand Words," the funky, summery first single from Memeb's debut EP around one month ago, and now the whole EP is up for free download.

Grab three originals and two remixes from the production duo from Spain here.

8. Kan~G - "Kings of Neverland"

"Kings of Neverland" is the perfect musical interlude for something that requires intense focus for a short amount of time, like steering a small boat into port or flipping a batch of pancakes on a crowded griddle. Kan~G has created a driving, confident beat that gets pitched and twisted in all the right ways over the course of its two minutes, staying fresh and interesting without ever verging on abrasion.

9. DJ Premier x BMB Spacekid ft. Anderson .Paak - "Til It's Done"

Ah, Russia. The vodka, the cathedrals, the DJ Premiers...

Yep. Premier was in St. Petersburg for a few days recently for Boiler Room x Ballantine's 'Stay True Russia' series, and when he crossed paths with Russian producer BMB Spacekid and L.A.'s Anderson .Paak, the three musketeers made some magic the Russian way. "Til It's Done" is a crazy blend of tastes and styles, but it all comes together beautifully.

10. Trippy Turtle – "A Good Ass Turtle"

Last week was apparently World Turtle Day, and in order to properly celebrate a day dedicated to his namesake, Trippy Turtle made a fun track appropriately titled "A Good Ass Turtle." Trippy Turtle flipped a sample of Chance The Rapper's "A Good Ass Intro" and made it into a bouncy, Jersey club mix.

11. Gia Koka - "Feux Rouges"

When Gia Koka's new single "Feux Rouges" begins, it feels like it could end up being an emotional ballad pulled forward by orchestral instruments. But soon it opens up and shows off its R&B and electro influences. Gia's voice is inviting and the rhythm is hypnotic—a combination good enough for a subtle pop hit.

12. Jengi Beats - "Have Mercy On Me"

Jengi Beats' latest track "Have Mercy On Me" is bright, breezy, and perfect for poolside chilling or late night partying. It's not a high energy track, but the subtle groove can make heads nod and feet tap without a second thought.

13. Vonny Del Fresco ft. Dee Phr3sh - "I'm The Man"

Earlier this week Milwaukee native Vonny Del Fresco released his new album Memoirs and proved why he's one to look out for. One of the standout tracks from Memoirs is "I'm The Man" featuring Dee Phr3sh. The undeniably catchy hook layered over a spaced out beat makes the track worthy of a few replays.

14. Tre Capital - "City Going Crazy"

L.A.'s Tre Capital teamed up with Indianapolis beatmaker Mathauis Young and Toronto producer Eestbound for this huge track off the rapper's upcoming Gundam II project. Big bass and raw raps for days.

15. Kanye West - "Wolves" (KRNE remake ft. MOONZz)

At the beginning of the year, Kanye West premiered his new song "Wolves" with Vic Mensa and Sia—and even without a proper CDQ version, it's made quite the impact. Producer KRNE simultaneously  flipped and covered the track with the help of vocalist MOONZz. The track begins with a vocal sample of the original, and that's where the similarities end. The combination of the MOONZz's raspy, but alluring voice along with the booming production make for an amazing track.

16. Wolfie - "I Be Ghost"

My one issue with a lot of the modern R&B being produced these days lies in a feeling of formlessness: wishy-washy synths, cooing, reverbed vocals, and a sparse drumbeat leave me feeling like Senator Kelly from X-Men as he turns into water.

This is not a problem that concerns Wolfie. "I Be Ghost" is chock full of snappy, snarling lines delivered with a melodic lilt that goes perfectly with Levi Lennox's production. There is no danger of aqua mutation here.
