With the Straight Outta Compton movie only two months away, promo for the film is hitting full throttle. Trailers have started appearing on TV, and one person who isn’t too happy with what he saw is founding N.W.A. member MC Ren. He took to social media on Wednesday to show his distaste for the official trailer, which excludes any scenes with him throughout the clip (DJ Yella is also not seen in the trailer).
He went as far as calling Universal Pictures “b*tches” for the snub, as he feels his contributions to the group are being ignored. Ren actually wrote eight out of the thirteen songs on the album and played an integral part in the group’s lyrics through the course of their career.
