Nick Catchdubs is one half of the duo that founded Fool’s Gold (the other half is, of course, A-Trak) and has since gifted us with some incredible music. But before that, Catchdubs was a DJ who created brilliant remixes and helped produce mixtapes. Now, after all this time, he’s announcing his debut album. Smoke Machine will be out April 28, and according to Catchdubs, is a “musical island of misfit toys. Cut-n-paste collab club music that wasn’t going to make sense anywhere else.”
The album will include guest features from artists like IAMSU!, Jay Ant, Troy Ave, and Heems. The latter two join Catchdubs on the first single from the project, “Full House,” which you can stream below.
