If you’ve been needing your dose of lies, deceit, love affairs, and backstabbing, R. Kelly‘s music video drama series Trapped in the Closet is back. New chapters will air beginning on Black Friday, November 23rd at 9 PM EST on IFC. Clearly, we can’t wait that long, so IFC has revealed some plot details as well as photos from the upcoming chapters, which will concern “a cast of characters interconnected by sexual exploits, quarreling lovers, and a mysterious package.”
Returning characters include: Sylvester, Rufus, Cathy, Tina, Roxanne, Randolph, Rosie the Nosy Neighbor, Reverend Mosley, Twan, and Pimp Lucius; characters who will not be returning include: Chuck, Gwendolyn, James, Bridget, Big Man, Myrna, Odell, and Bishop Craig. R. Kelly himself will be portraying two new characters: Dr. Perry, “a therapist at Rufus and Cathy’s church guiding them through marriage counseling,” and Beeno, “a powerful underworld kingpin.”
Those who aren’t caught up with this series will be pleased to know that IFC will be airing the previous chapters on Thanksgiving, starting at 10 AM EST. Check out the images from the upcoming chapters below.
