With the exception of their collaboration with Goldlink back in May, New Zealand’s LEISURE has been fairly quiet this year so far. Thankfully, after taking some time off to gather themselves, the mysterious collective is back with an excellent new single.
“Control Myself” is an understated but sexy offering from the Auckland natives, a perfect concoction of cool and seductive. “I just can’t control myself around you,” the vocals croon over glistening, pulsating production that may lead one into thinking some risqué thoughts. If you’re looking for a song to set the mood, “Control Myself” is the ultimate soundtrack for sweaty late nights.
Last week, LEISURE revealed via Instagram that they’re close to finishing their yet-to-be-titled debut album. Until that project arrives, listen to “Control Myself” below.
