Flying Lotus is Working on a Feature Film

The film will feature music from Aphex Twin, Akira Yamaoka, Thundercat, and more.

Flying Lotus made his directorial debut with his short film Royal this past weekend at the Sundance NEXT Fest in L.A., but as it turns out, Royal is just the beginning. According to FlyLo, Royal is a part of his upcoming feature film, Kuso.

Taking to Twitter, FlyLo revealed that Kuso has actually been "steady filming low key this year with some talented folks." One enormous draw to the film is the music that will be featured in Kuso, the artists for which include Aphex Twin, Thundercat, Akira Yamaoka (who composed the music for Silent Hill), Captain Murphy (FlyLo's alter ego), and more. 

Kuso, according to FlyLo, is about 65% complete, but he's reached out for some additional help, tweeting "If you’re in LA and want to help on this film. Please reply to @BRAINFEEDER with links to work and reels.We need all types of help esp n post."
