Gucci, Young Thug, Quavo, Travi$ Scott Perform at 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards
Great way to kick off this year's BET Hip Hop Awards.

Based on the fact that this past year has seen a lot of great music, it seemed fitting that the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards kicked off in the best way possible.
Opening the award show on a dramatic smoke-filled stage was Gucci Mane performing "1st Day Out Tha Feds" in a black fur coat while Zaytoven played a white grand piano. The ATL rapper was then joined by Travi$ Scott for their collabortive track "Last Time." Finally, Young Thug and Quavo appeared on stage alongside Travi$ for an energetic performance of "Pick Up the Phone," now officially certified gold by the RIAA as of today.
The 2016 BET Awards stage will also see performances by 21 Savage, Big K.R.I.T., Isaiah Rashad, and more. Drake is in the lead with nine nominations, including Best Hip Hop Video ("Hotline Bling"), MVP of the Year, and Hustler of the Year. DJ Khaled follows with seven nominations.
