Kanye Had a Family Emergency and Twitter Proved It's Full of Sociopaths
Twitter is full of savages.
Last night Kanye Westcut his set short at The Meadows festival in Queens, New York.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. There's a family emergency. I have to stop the show," Kanye said before dropping the mic and walking off stage. There was a burst of confusion and outrage, and one very angry girl screaming, "This is SO Kanye, what the fuck?"
One would think that "family emergency" would warrant sympathy and understanding instead of anger, but maybe these people simply have no souls, or recently watched the last season of Portlandia.
A few hours later it was revealed that the "family emergency" in question was a heist in which Kim Kardashian West was tied up in a hotel bathroom and robbed at gunpoint. Most people showed support for Kanye and his decision to stop the show, but in the darkest depths of Twitter we find the people who feel slighted by Kanye. Twitter can be a savage place.
