Injury Reserve is One of the Best New Groups in Hip-Hop
Arizona hip-hop trio Injury Reserve is set to have a big 2017.
For a while there, it seemed like solo rap stars were taking over and the group dynamic that was once so important in hip-hop culture might start to fade away. But in 2017, hip-hop groups are alive and well. We've got Migos and Rae Sremmurd dominating the mainstream, and Run The Jewels, Two-9, and dozens of underground collectives proving that there's something special about a group.
Injury Reserve is keeping that tradition alive, and the young Arizona-based group had a strong 2016 with their album Floss. They're on track to keep the momentum going in 2017, so we decided to highlight them in our latest P&P Update, get their take on all the success, and find out what they're planning this year.
