MS Paint (a program responsible for beautiful works of art all over the internet) seemed perfect. Simple but effective, it was an ideal tool for us all to express ourselves. Turns out we were wrong. It needed some Guwop. Fortunately, some remarkable humans over at Super Deluxe saw that need and delivered.
“We were talking about the Gucci Mane cloning conspiracy that has captivated the nation and one of us said it could be funny to do a little site with some kind of spin on the Photoshop clone/stamp tool,” Super Deluxe explained to us. “And then the idea of a Gucci-themed version of MS Paint came up.”
Of course. Who needs every color of the rainbow when you can paint with images of Gucci adjusting his sunglasses instead? Or duplicate the same Gucci Mane all over the page and make your own army of fashionable Gucci clones.
All in a day’s work for the people who also brought us “Drop Drake.” Super Deluxe prefer not to single out names when it comes to the creator of Gucci Paint, but they did say, “The person who put this together on a technical level is a programming genius and it took a couple hours total from conception to execution. Brrrrr.”
