Following powerful albums that touch on the realities of being black in America like Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, D'Angelo's Black Messiah, and Solange's A Seat at the Table, comes Common's timely new album Black America Again.

No stranger to exploring political messages throughout his 11-album career, the 44-year-old Chicago rapper fearlessly tackles topics like racism, police brutality, and unfair incarceration of black men on the 15-song project.

"Black America Again is about humanity and how we express ourselves, love and ways of feeling free," he told Billboard in a recent interview. "We are rewriting the black American story."

Featuring appearances from John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Bilal, BJ the Chicago Kid, Syd, and more, the album is available to stream on Apple Music and via Spotify below.
