Chance The Rapper Ditches Costume in Alternate Post-Halloween Kit Kat Ad

So, how long until Kit Kat permanently changes their jingle to Chance's version?

Artists always have to be careful about crossing over into mainstream markets and agreeing to do advertisements, with the fear of being called a "sell out." Up to this point, Chance The Rapper has been able to avoid this, however—with the help of his endearing charisma and a history of giving his music away to fans for free.

His first ad spot with Kit Kat got us used to the idea of Chance singing the candy bar's famous jingle and now that we've seen the follow-up, we don't want to hear it any other way. With his musical flair, Chance has somehow morphed an ad deal into what feels like an extension of his creativity—and it's difficult not to be happy seeing him find a creative way to make money in an unstable musical economy. Watch the new, costume-less version of the ad above.
