Black Hippy’s back!
Accompanying the release of ScHoolboy Q’s next album, Blank Face, Black Hippy blessed us by reuniting for a remix of “THat Part.” Reminding us of their ridiculous collective talents, they hit us with new verses from (in order) Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and finally ScHoolboy Q (who takes advantage of the moment to deliver some very timely lines about Alton Sterling’s tragic death).
Like previous Black Hippy remixes of “U.O.E.N.O.” and “Black Lip Bastard,” all four members completely destroy this beat, leaving us salivating over the idea of a rumored TDE tour on the horizon. Listen below.
