Stranger Things has been on Netflix for about two months now, and it's taken this long for somebody to make a rap out of its creepy, synth-heavy theme song. It's finally happened now, as Wiz Khalifa recruited J.R. Donato and hopped on a hip-hop-ified version of the track by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, members of Austin instrumental synth-rock band S U R V I V E.
On the surprisingly effective track—produced by E. Dan, Big Jerm and Sayez—Khalifa talks about staying genuine despite pressures from fake people and the world to conform: "I brush my teeth, pray, wash my face / And thank God I stay far away from the fakes / Remember days wasn't safe / Now we got thousands tucked in the safe."
Maybe Khalifa should have gotten Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven in the show, on the track, because that girl has flow.
