On January 17, 2015, Kevin Hart hosted Saturday Night Live, and in one sketch, we were introduced to Hart's character Chocolate Droppa, a rapper whose new single revealed his crew's deepest secrets. It was good for a laugh, but it turns out that Chocolate Droppa is genuinely Hart's rap alter ego, and Kevin Hart Presents WHAT NOW the Mixtape Hosted by Chocolate Droppa is coming out on October 14, in conjunction with Hart's stand-up special, Kevin Hart: What Now?

Ahead of that, Hart Droppa has shared a new single called "Baller Alert," and it's a totally legitimate song: Metro Boomin produced it, and Migos and T.I. are on the track as well. In a tongue-in-cheek interview with Complex, Droppa said it was a struggle working with Metro Boomin early on because they weren't on the same level: "Yeah, it was tough at first because we couldn’t vibe. If you great, you need to make sure that somebody on that great level. Of course I’m talking about me being at the highest level and him not being where I was. But in that studio session, I got him there."

Droppa—who is signed to Motown, by the way—has made the occasional public appearance over the past few years, so check out a couple of those, and listen to "Baller Alert," below.
