Quite apart from making awesome music, Shabazz Palaces’ visuals stay on point. The “Motion Sickness” and “#CAKE” videos were stunning, and that press picture of Ishmael Butler with the snakes is just incredible, and now here’s another great video. “Forerunner Foray” is the second track on Shabazz Palaces latest album Lese Majesty, a mix of twinkling, astral production and gritty rhymes, and the video, directed and animated by Chad VanGaalen, is some next level mind-fuckery.
