Watch Drake Surprise The Crowd at Mad Decent Block Party in Brooklyn

Two Mad Decent Block Party shows went down in Brooklyn over the weekend, with Sunday’s crowd getting a very special surprise in the form of Drake. The Canadian superstar has been in New York as part of his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future, and while he’s in the city he’s been going back and forth with radio station Hot 97.

First, Hot 97 host Ebro suggested Eminem was going to diss Drake, and although he later said he was just joking, Drake took some shots at the radio station while on stage at Madison Square Garden, rapping “You see, they tellin’ lies on Hot 97, that’s how it goes. I told ’em fire Funk Flex and then I’ll come and do your show.” Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex quickly responded on air, and Drake took yet more subliminal shots at him at a New York club appearance (see video below).

Away from the drama, however, Drake popped up during producer Boi-1-da’s DJ set in Brooklyn on Sunday, performing “Jumpman,” “Back to Back,” and “For Free.” As Drake continues his tour across America, he’s sure to deliver a lot more surprises in various cities. Keep your eyes peeled.
