Two of PC Music’s most recognizable artists, founder A.G. Cook and singer Hannah Diamond, have released a new track today to coincide with the announcement of a big SXSW show. The show, going down on thursday March 19 in Austin, TX, will feature pretty much the whole PC Music family, with bespoke live sets designed specifically for the festival. Check out the flyer below.
The new track, “Drop FM,” which is available for free download, is one of the best things to come from the camp in a while. Hannah Diamond’s vocals are as saccharine sweet and highly processed as usual, but the production is the winner here, an excellent contrast between rough edged bass and the vividly bright elements that have come to define the PC Music sound.
