Mac DeMarco is no stranger to performing stripped-down versions of his songs in some non-traditional places, but this latest performance might just be his finest yet. On his birthday this year Mac purchased a small rowboat from an old man, and used it for a barebones keyboard-only performance of the charming “No Other Heart” for NPR. Directed by Mito Habe-Evans, the video offers yet another reason to swoon for DeMarco’s cute and laid-back brand of romance. It can’t be easy to perform under tight circumstances, but once again, DeMarco makes it look as simple as ever.
