In lighter Kanye West news, Kanye had a short cameo on the premiere of Caitlyn Jenner’s new reality series I Am Cait, in which he tells Jenner that her transition is “one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings that are so controlled by perception.” He continued by adding, “‘Cause you couldn’t have been up against more. Your daughter’s a supermodel, you’re a celebrity… every type of thing, and it was still like, ‘Fuck everybody, this is who I am.'”
It’s a considerably more touching video than Kanye throwing a mic in the air, even if he does awkwardly explain his shoes to Jenner’s sister. Those shoelaces aren’t tied and yet they stay on Kanye’s feet, so Jenner’s sister has every right to be curious about such sorcery.
