Hot off the heels of his successful debut album and just ahead of his upcoming North American tour, Yung Lean has shared an intense and atmospheric video for the Unknown Memory highlight “Volt.” Taking place in a dark forest of some kind, the foggy and mysterious video splices imagery of Lean in one of his best outfits yet with footage of a woman wearing an unsettling Aphex Twin-like Yung Lean mask.
Similar to the “Yoshi City” video before it, the video for “Volt” combines the surrealities of Lean’s aesthetic with some pretty sharp cinematography. The Sadboys are certainly climbing the ranks judging from the increasing quality of their videos. Here’s hoping that we can purchase that Yung Lean mask soon so we can all start planning for our Halloween costumes for next year.
