Here's hoping that KeKe is okay.

On Thursday (January 15) a suspected electrical fire started in Lil B’s apartment complex, and if it wasn’t 15-year-old Mateo Ysmael, the world would be a considerably darker place right about now. The teenager went around the apartment building waking up everyone by knocking on their doors, making sure that nobody was left behind. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the fire did cause a lot of damage. Amongst the damage, Lil B says the fire destroyed his studio and some of his music.

Talking to Contra Costa Times, Lil B said that he’s grateful to be alive. “I’ve got to thank the Contra Costa Fire folks for doing such an amazing job keeping it contained,” he said. “They were extraordinary. It could’ve been so much worse than it was. Like I said, I’m grateful to be alive.” Lil B has asked fans for their support during this time, and those who wish to help him out can do so by donating to his PayPal diorpaint@gmail.com.

Check out what Lil B had to say about the situation on Twitter above, alongside a picture that he took of the fire. Here’s hoping that KeKe is okay.
