Sia’s upcoming seventh studio album, This Is Acting, is due for release January 29 and will consist of songs she initially wrote for other musicians. We’ve already heard “Alive,” which was written in mind for Adele’s upcoming album 25, and now we’ve got the second single from the album, “Bird Set Free,” as well as the previously mentioned release date and the striking album art.
The dramatic new single “Bird Set Free” definitely feels a lot more confident than the material found on 1000 Forms of Fear, going in line with what she had previously about the album being “more pop.” Listen to “Bird Set Free” below, and check out the album art for This Is Acting below that.
