Lil B has been very vocal so far this year, even making sure to admit his own mistakes, as well as his desire to learn more about issues he doesn’t entirely understand. Recently Lil B dropped by CNN to talk about how he’d no longer be endorsing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and that after doing some research he’d be supporting Bernie Sanders instead. Yesterday, Lil B made his second TV appearance this year to discuss politics once again, this time talking with MSNBC.
Speaking about his support for both Sanders and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, Lil B stressed the importance of the movement and praised Sanders’ handling of the non-violent protests, calling him “extremely classy.” Pointing out how people in general need more empathy, he said it’s very important that politicians “protect transgender people and also homosexual and gay people, which is a big thing that not a lot of people are really fighting for.”
Clearly taking on board the comments he received after some dodgy tweets last month, Lil B is ready to spread more positivity and understanding, using his position in the artistic community to point out some of the horrible injustices in the world. Everyone is equal, and Lil B is here to spread the message. Check out the full interview above.
