Massive Attack and Run The Jewels to Play Banksy's New Theme Park

Run The Jewels, Massive Attack, and more set to play Banksy's satirical 'Dismaland' theme park.

Anonymous artist Banksy is known for his satirical street art, but his latest piece might just be his most biggest yet. Pushing his dark humor as far as it can possibly go, Banksy has opened a pop-up “theme park” exhibition at a derelict location in Weston-super-Mare, UK. Titled Dismalandthe exhibition features new pieces from him and a handful of other artists, with him describing the “bemusement park” as a “theme park unsuitable for children.”

The attraction will be open for five weeks, and over the course of those five weeks there will be a series of Friday night live events. Run The Jewels, Pussy Riot, Kate Tempest, and Massive Attack are all slated to play shows there among others. Admission to the park is £3 or free for under-fives, but you probably wouldn’t want to bring a child along judging from the pictures.

More information regarding the upcoming live events as well as the park itself can be found on the website here, but expect the website to be relatively slow at points due to a heavy load. Check out the poster for the live shows below, and check out more pictures of Dismaland here.
