Joe Budden recently declared he was out to get Drake, releasing a number of tracks directly taking shots at him. Besides a couple of lines that may or may not be directed at Budden on French Montana’s “No Shopping,” Drake was seemingly ignoring the budding beef up until this point. Of course, things changed with his Summer Sixteen show in Dallas last night, when Drake finally addressed Joe Budden’s constant attacks on him head-on.

During some downtime between songs, Drake began talking to the audience, proclaiming, “We got that good energy going on.” He followed, saying, “I should’ve brought Joe Budden up here and let him do ‘Pump It Up’ one time.” Referencing Budden’s 2003 hit “Pump It Up,” Drake is clearly not impressed with Budden’s diss tracks thus far. It Remains to be seen if Drake will release a full-on diss track or not, but here’s hoping if he does he comes as hard as he did for Meek Mill last year.

Watch Drake address Budden above, and watch the wonderfully outdated video for “Pump It Up” below.
