Today, Complex shared a comical video in which indie artists Shamir and Mac DeMarco interview each other while playing everyone’s favorite tabletop game, Jenga. All topics discussed revolved around hot-button and newsworthy issues, like Montreal’s standing as “European Vegas” and pet peeves. As for smoking, the advice is simple: don’t do it. The charismatic pair first met at Pitchfork Music Festival, and a wonderful friendship has blossomed in the time since. Shamir’s self-professed love for DeMarco (and his girlfriend Kiki) makes the video all the more entertaining. Watch it above. The interview’s second half is coming soon.
UPDATE: Today, Complex released the second half of their video featuring Mac DeMarco and Shamir. This time around, the two share what they believe to be the perfect song (Demarco’s is by piano man Billy Joel), take on French Canadian accents, and carry on with their breath-bating Jenga game.
