"Goodbye" is some of his toughest work to date.

Kid Cudi has big plans. He claims to have two albums in the works, was in the studio with André 3000, and recently took part in an all-star stand against gun violence.
Most importantly, however, he’s on a musical hot streak. We were gifted with the Mike WiLL collaboration “All In” a few weeks back, and he’s back with yet another strong release in “Goodbye.” The chilling track features production from both Dot da Genius and Mescudi himself (together, they go by WZRD). The song opens with an iconic Juice monologue from Tupac’s Bishop. Internal turmoil threatens to upend Scott’s world to the point where he considers leaving it, but the clouds break with a startling, heavenly second act.
Stream the Cudi’s latest single below, and stay tuned for this Sunday’s OTHERtone Beats 1 episode with hosts Pharrell and Scott Vener. Cudi will be a special guest.
