The popular video game series Assassin’s Creed is receiving the film treatment this year, and the first official trailer surfaced just yesterday. Fast-approaching seven million views, the promo piece doubles as a resurgence for a 2013 song by a certain hip-hop artist, Kanye West‘s “I Am A God.”
West has a long sync history, with past tracks appearing in movies such as Top Five, The Hangover, and The Great Gatsby, as well as TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy.
The trailer is embedded above. Assassin’s Creed is slated for a December 21 release.
