Today’s Red Bull Culture Clash—a live-streamed event that pits four music crews from different corners of the world against one another—had a handful of highlights, but this one might take the cake: Popcaan and his Brooklyn-based label Mixpak (a staple in the dancehall community) unleashed a previously unheard version of Drake’s No. 1 hit “One Dance,” much to the delight of the crowd. Heads up: “Papi” is used in abundance.
“All of you who respect Drizzy Drake, put your fucking hands up like this!” he called out to the receptive audience. Wiz Khalifa, leading Taylor Gang in the event, looked unfazed.
Watch the video above to hear the latest version of the smash song to surface, which features altered lyrics and a Popcaan shoutout from Graham himself.
