Saba on Chicago Hip-Hop and What Outsiders Get Wrong About His City
Before heading out on the Bucket List Tour, Saba stopped by to get real about his hometown and his influences.

Chicago rapper Saba dropped his excellent Bucket List Project in October last year, and he's heading out on his first headlining tour in March. The rising rapper puts on for his city, but he’s not from the South Side like Chance and Kanye, but from the often overlooked West Side.
The distinction is important, and, in the video above, Saba explains the deep influence his hometown has on his music, talks about the new wave of artists coming up in his city, and breaks down the many misconceptions people have about Chicago.
