Last night Comedy Central finally aired the Roast of Justin Bieber and it was full of countless hilarious, uncomfortable jokes. Most young adults go out drinking until they can’t remember the evening for their 21st birthdays. Not Bieber. Instead, the young heartthrob wanted to be roasted for two hours on national television by various celebrities. The roast included brutal jokes from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O’Neal, Ludacris, Hannibal Buress, Martha Stewart and the “roastmaster” Kevin Hart.
This entire evening felt like a way for Justin Bieber to finally get back in good graces with his fans since he is reportedly in the process of finishing up his new album with Rick Rubin and Kanye West. After the roast aired he revealed, “I’m finishing up the album now, working with Kanye and Rick. I’m not rushing it, I’ll just wait until it’s totally done.” Admitting that his whole direction has changed and that fans will be “shocked” by his new music.
Kevin Hart began the evening by explaining that this roast would be the ass whooping Justin Bieber deserved to get a long time ago.
Snoop Dogg explained that Bieber’s crazy behavior would land him in prison, and that he’s definitely too pretty for that.
Hannibal Buress let it be known that he is not a fan of Bieber’s music, at all: “I hate your music more than Bill Cosby hates my comedy.”
Martha Stewart surprisingly had one of the funniest roasts of the evening.
