Ever since the release of his breakout single "Still in Love" last summer, Toronto artist JAHKOY has been landing himself on the radar of many R&B fans. He kicked off the new year with the release of his single "Odd Future," which slowed the mood down just a bit from his previous dance-ready single.
Throughout the year, the young singer has been gearing up to release his debut project Foreign Water. He first teased the new project by sharing "California Heaven" with ScHoolboy Q in September. This week he returns with his full Foreign Water project.
The 7-track EP shows off the range of R&B JAHKOY can excel in, with mid-tempo but danceable tracks like "1000 Times" and more seductive records like "Don't Beg." All together, Foreign Water serves as a great introduction to who JAHKOY is as an artist.
