Caribou has been providing us with endless amounts of music lately. At the beginning of the year, he created possibly the longest playlist ever and now he’s returned with an expanded version of his album Our Love. The expanded album features a few new remixes, including ones by Head High and Cyril Hahn.
Cyril Hahn’s edit of “Second Chance” slows everything down just slightly but it is enough to completely alter the mood of the track. The vocals become more of whisper and the production feels more hypnotic than the original. Caribou explained that this edit came about the same way most of his favorite remixes do: “Cyril made a bootleg mix from the album version which caught my attention and I loved it and sent him the parts to finish for the full released version.”
