Ahead of his appearance at our No Ceilings SXSW show last month, A.CHAL released a brand new single titled "To The Light." His breathy, almost effortless vocals layered over hazy production make this single feel immediately mesmerizing and soothing.

Today he returns with cinematic visuals to pair with his latest single. "To The Light" sounds made to be the soundtrack of beautiful landscape or perhaps a transitional scene within a film. Director RJ Sanchez manages to make both of those mental images come to life to create the perfect setting for the single. "To The Light" is addictive in its own right, but the video has made it twice as captivating.

"From the stories I've read, the desert has always been a place where a person would find themselves at their barest human state, on path to what would become a transformational experience," The singer/songwriter/producer explains about the concept of his video.

"Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, and so on, have all wandered the desert for answers. In this visual we chose the desert, as it symbolically represents where I'm at. Though I have support from others and not alone in my journey as an artist. I still constantly face the challenge of not getting in my own way. As I try to remain focused on the positive and not allow the negative to dim my light. The desert effortlessly portrays that to me, where there is no distraction but you and your own thoughts. I'm also a fan of older rock videos from artist like Guns & Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers. And wanted to create a visual that I felt can carry the tradition & legacy of those."
