New York rap is more diverse than ever, and it keeps branching out into new territory as each subgenre evolves. Brooklyn artist Jesus Honcho is hard to even classify as a rapper—his songs are driven by soaring melodies and an emotionally charged delivery that fans of modern acts like Trippie Redd, KILLY, and Lil Uzi Vert should appreciate. His songs "Infatuated" and "The Prayer" are already putting up huge numbers ("Infatuated" has 4.4 million on SoundCloud and 1.4 million on Spotify), and today Honcho unleashes some new vibes—7 of them, to be exact.

"The whole time creating this project I can say that I was very aware of what was going on around me," Honcho told us through email. "This project is full of realistic things that occurred in my life. Whether it was staying rejuvenated, speaking about how heartbreak damaged me, falling in love, or just observing life, all these things played a huge role in making this EP successful."
