Billie Eilish is one of our favorite new artists and quickly on her way to being one of music's most exciting new pop superstars, but she's keeping things unpredictable. With no warning, Billie dropped a new song called "you should see me in a crown." It comes with a visual (not the official music video) that shows spiders clambering over a crown, and that pretty much sums up the vibe of this record.
"you should see me in a crown" starts off at an ominous crawl, but snaps into a threat before the minute mark. As usual with Billie, it's a gorgeously written song with a pop core and an unforgettable chorus, but dark undertones give it an dynamic edge.
