Norwegian singer Sigrid broke out by balancing fiery, intimate vocals with sleek frosty production on tracks like "Strangers" and "Don't Kill My Vibe." But for her latest single, the 21-year-old deviated from her usual booming percussion, opting for a stripped down soundscape on "I Don't Want To Know." The result is an elegiac track about how relationships change as we grow older, where Sigrid grapples with these complex emotions atop faint guitars and cascading pianos.

Premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Sigrid explained that it was inspired by the songwriting of Fleetwood Mac as well as The War on Drugs, who she has gotten into over the past year.  She revealed that she's still working on her album, and explained a bit about the inspiration for "I Don't Want To Know."

"It's kind of a homage to growing up," Sigrid told Lowe. "And all the good sides of it and the bad sides of it and that whole thing."
