Back in 2011, New York hip-hop radio legends Stretch & Bobbito reunited for one night only at Le Poisson Rouge, bringing back the spirit of their radio show which ran from 1990 to 1998 on WKCR-FM (89.9), Columbia University's station. Special guests that night included Raekwon and Masta Killa of Wu-Tang Clan, Masta Ace, Buckshot, and more, with Jon Caramanica writing a detailed review in the New York Times.
One moment that was captured on camera, however, was Raekwon rapping his "C.R.E.A.M." verse over Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones (Part II)" beat. The moment was recently resurfaced on Reddit Hip-Hop Heads by user dakkadakka3 and it's too good not to share. Watch the live performance and check out a full mash-up of two classics—"C.R.E.A.M." and "Shook Ones (Part II)"—below.
