Another day, another snippet of a new Ski Mask The Slump God song that we'll hopefully have our hands on soon. The prolific Florida MC teased yet another single, posting a short clip on Instagram of a currently untitled cut he plans to drop on February 12.

The song feels reminiscent of his early days, thanks to its heavily distorted vocals and rumbling bass, as well as the sense of dread and menace cultivated by the horror movie-inspired rapper. The snippet also includes a reference to H&M's controversial "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle" campaign, which he previously mentioned on another track we have yet to hear in full, though it's possible the two could have been combined. Ski also attracted recent attention for bringing a violinist to the studio because he and Jamz, his producer, couldn't acquire the rights to sample the Boy Meets World theme.

In the post, Ski Mask addressed the delay on his much anticipated upcoming project. "Sorry For The Wait Of The Tape You Guys I’m As Mad As You," he wrote. There's still no release date for Beware the Book of Eli, which he had hoped to drop in December 2017. In the meantime, there's plenty of Ski to hold us over, including recent singles "Poltergeist" and "WTF!?" He also collaborated with Rich The Kid on the song "Bukakke."
