The new season of Donald Glover's FX show Atlanta kicks off tomorrow, but he made a rare appearance on Twitter Wednesday afternoon to announce some Childish Gambino news.

Glover will be performing three nights in New Zealand as part of another Pharos event. His tweet takes users to his Pharos mobile app, where they can purchase tickets. In the "event info" tab under "Childish Gambino," the page reads: "Experience new music." There will be a live dome performance each night, featuring special guests.

In 2016, three months before releasing Awaken My Love!, Glover treated fans to new music from the album before anyone else during a Pharos event in Joshua Tree. Attendees described the event as "a look inside Donald Glover’s brain; an entire universe he created for a small group of people to experience together." You can read a first-person account from the 2016 shows here.

So, if this is anything like the last album cycle, new Childish Gambino music will likely come shortly after the event. Unfortunately, it won't take place until nearly the end of the year: November 23 - 25. Tickets are $149 USD, including taxes and fees. You can check out the app for yourself here or continue for screenshots about the Pharos event.
