Lil Skies is one of the fastest rising artists in the game right now, and the 19-year-old Pennsylvania rapper's new mixtape Life of a Dark Rose arrives at the perfect time. Skies has been heating up with hypnotizing singles like "Red Roses" and "Lust," and after racking up tens of millions of plays and winning over a loyal fan base, he signed with Atlantic Records in the second half of last year.
In December of 2017, Lil Skies hinted that even though "Red Roses," was still spreading, he was already thinking of his next moves. "We're still going hard with it," he told us during an episode of Trending Topics, "but we're still moving forward though. 'Red Roses' is lit. I thank you guys for that, but there's plenty more 'Red Roses' songs to come."
