Leven Kali has been on our radars since 2015, but he got a big look last year as one of the few features on Playboi Carti's self-titled mixtape, which ended up being one of the best projects of 2017. Today, the California artist levels up with a song of his own featuring Syd. It's a downtempo groove with smooth vocals and a chill, sexy vibe. The song almost didn't happen, according to Leven. "It’s a long story," he tells us, "but this song died, came back to life, and stopped smoking Backwoods. Thank you for listening.”
