Jack White is always working on something new, it seems, whether it's making a documentary, running his Third Man Records label, or releasing music with multiple different bands. Next up is a new solo album called Boarding House Reach, the third of his career and first since 2014's Lazaretto.
Boarding House Reach doesn't yet have a release date, but the first single, "Connected By Love" is out now, alongside "Respect Commander." According to a press release, "Connected By Live" features White on vocals, synthesizer, and acoustic guitar, backed by a remarkable new lineup of musicians that includes drummer Louis Cato (Beyoncé, Q-Tip, John Legend), bassist Charlotte Kemp Muhl (The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger), synthesizer player DJ Harrison, keyboardist Neal Evans (Soulive, Talib Kweli, John Scofield), percussionist Bobby Allende (David Byrne), and backing vocalists Ann & Regina McCrary of Nashville's beloved gospel trio, The McCrary Sisters.
