Drake came out of nowhere in January with the two-track Scary Hours project, featuring the melodic "God's Plan" and the rap-heavy "Diplomatic Immunity." The songs broke first-day streaming records on both Spotify and Apple, and (unsurprsingly) subsequently debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart—both within the Top 10.

This marks Drake's 21st and 22nd Billboard 100 Top 10 hits, meaning he has now surpassed Jay-Z as the rapper with the most Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s. (Although Drake is categorized as a rapper, it must be noted that not all of his Top 10s are rap, with "Hold On, We're Going Home" and "Hotline Bling" springing immediately to mind.) Jay-Z's last Top 10 was 2013's "Holy Grail" with Justin Timberlake, from the Magna Carta Holy Grail album.

Following Drake and Jay-Z in the standings of rapper's Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s are Lil Wayne, (20), Ludacris (18), and Eminem (17). Among all acts, Drake is tied with Taylor Swift in 13th place for the most Hot 100 Top 10s. He has a long way to go to catch Madonna, who leads with 38, followed by The Beatles (34), Rihanna (31) and Michael Jackson (29).

In other news, a Trippie Redd and Drake collaboration seems to be on the way. Listen to Scary Hours below.
