Someone at Marvel must be a big fan of Vince Staples.

Staples' song "BagBak" was previously featured in the Black Pantherofficial trailer as well as an episode of The Runaways. "Hang N' Bang" was also included in the soundtrack to an episode of Iron Fist. And now, some unreleased bars from Vince have showed up in the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Over a cinematic musical background, Staples raps: "This morning I woke up in the fortress of distortion / I'm at war with my emotions / I'm coming home now, I'm coming home / Right where I belong now, right where I belong." Based on the short clip, this feels like a short piece of music he wrote for the trailer, rather than a snippet of a full song—but we'll find out when the movie arrives next year.

The film is slated for a Christmas 2018 release. You can watch the trailer above. And continue for some obscure music facts. Honestly, there's nothing related to Vince Staples or Spider-Man in there, but there is something about Jimi Hendrix getting caught masturbating while on duty in the military. It's worth your time. I promise. Happy Sunday.
